We returned from Japan just over a week ago and things have stayed super busy.
It’s funny how that happens! I wonder if it’s because you’ve been gone so long that there’s just more to do, or if you’re so revved up from your travels that you want to keep the party going? Probably a little from column A and a little from column B.
In my case it was almost immediately my birthday when we arrived in Perth so of course I visited my parents and had a mad-awesome birthday party.
Then Jarryd had a friend (Chris) from the Melbourne chiptune scene stay with us for a few days while he played at an event in Perth. Much delicious chinese was eaten. Many gameboys were modded. Many coffees were drunk. It was pretty good!
He left yesterday so I’m finally ready to go through my notes and photos and tickets and scribbled bits of paper and everything else to translate our most excellent experience in Japan into helpful, and hopefully engaging, blogging!
In the mean time check out some of the quality tunes that Chris creates as cTrix.
He’s visited Japan three times (jelly!) to perform at several music events and we had a great time comparing notes over dinner. ^.^
Busy has been fun but some peace and quiet is going to be welcome for all the writing that needs to be done!
Next post: Packing for your trip
Until next time,
